Unlocking the secrets to perfect roommate success.

We’re changing the way universities pair roommates forever, using wicked-smart, data-driven software.

Our team collected, organized, and analyzed data from current university roommates to discover which type of pairs lead to roommate success. Now, we're pairing incoming freshmen based on personality-type, daily-habits, and general biography, to create the most compatible pairs on campus.

First Step: Answer Questions!

Would you tell your friend his outfit looks good, even if it didn’t? When do you go to bed? Do you study with or without music? During the first part of our matching process, students answer carefully selected, research-backed questions about their personality, daily-habits, general interests, and potential dealbreakers to ensure we can match them with their best possible counterpart.

Next up, calculating scores!

By analyzing student answers and using the pinch of artificial intelligence, we calculate compatibility scores between all students, ensuring a match that’s tailored to a student’s unique preferences and lifestyle.

Our algorithm is based on the latest trends and insights emerging from answers to our questionnaire from current roommates and their happiness rankings, and is continuously refined to ensure the best possible match. With our innovative approach to match optimization, you can have confidence that you’ll be living with a compatible, mutually-benefitting roommate.

Last step, pick your roommate!

After carefully selecting all possible roommate matches, we present students with their top 3 matches. This gives students the freedom to pick their roommate themselves – without overloading them with infinite, crudly-selected matches.

We believe that connecting with your matches before making a final connection is imperative to long-term success, so we’ve made it extra easy to start chatting with your roommate: Students will be connected via email, invited to a virtual coffee chat, and have the option to share their social media.
